Fear Not: Choosing Truth Over Fear

The enemy uses lies to produce fear.

Fear is not simply an emotion — it is often a response to a belief. And the beliefs that produce the most crippling fear are, almost always, lies.

You are alone. God has abandoned you. The worst will happen. You are not enough.

God's response to fear is not primarily "calm down." His response is truth.

Isaiah 41:10 is a statement of fact, not merely a comforting feeling. God is with you. He will strengthen you. He will uphold you.

The antidote to fear isn't willpower — it's truth. Specifically, the truth about who God is and what He has promised.

A note on the "365 times" claim: You may have heard that the phrase "Fear not" appears exactly 365 times in the Bible — once for every day of the year. This is a popular saying, but it varies considerably depending on the Bible translation, and how equivalent phrases are counted. The number itself isn't the point. What matters is that Scripture is saturated with God's commands to not be afraid — because He is the one we can trust.
